INTEGRITY IS THE REMEDY

Yup! Can't say it enough : INTEGRITY IS THE REMEDY! We live in a society filled with fakeness, false representations of people, morals and values. We seem to care more about appearences than the actual truth. We don't take time to question, we just swallow whatever is presented to us.
As news around the world are becoming more and more available to us, with the internet, file sharing and all that good stuff, I am really interested to see where this is going to take us... Evolution? Certainly not without a Revolution, which will not, cannot be televised... Let's all Stay Tooned... :0)

AS IF THE EARTHQUAKE WASN'T ENOUGH...

To think, I thought you had to have some type of political background to become president.
During the election period in certain countries, political parties, in association with the media,
go on a rampage to dig up any secrets a presidential candidate may have burried and forgotten in his backyard. The search for new president is a meticulous one. Although embedded in corruption most of the time, the elections give the people a choice of candidates that have been involved with the political, economical and social aspects of the country they wish to run.
I guess those rules don't apply to Haiti.

We've all heard the recent news: the ex fugees member, Wyclef Jean is running for president of Haiti. To make matters worse, one of his adversaries will be none other than the well known Mr Michel Martelly, aka Sweet Micky. This election will be quite a spectacle !

A lot of people seem to be happy about this news, I don't understand why...
Don't get me wrong, both are arguably talented artists. The question is do they have what it takes to run a country facing such a challenging reality?

I just find it absurd and arrogant of both of them to think they can just run for president, having absolutly no credibility as far as their political abilities are concerned. One doesn't just hop for the top with no experience and expect to bring about positive change. The most humble thing to do in my opinion, would be to enter the political world willing to learn before wanting
to rule.

As if the earthquake wasn't enough, we now have to prepare for yet another big-hot-mess!

Venezuelan President, Hugo Chavez, blames the United States for Haiti disaster

Wow...Deep allegations! Hugo Chavez is known for being an Anti-U.S.A advocate, CAN WE BLAME HIM? LOL, in fact, we saw him recently handing over an Anti-American book to president Obama. The venezuelan president, as we have known him, has always been fighting for the people and expressing his strong beliefs on the corrupted world we live in. Now we know that the capitalistic system we live by cares about profits much more than it cares about people. I am devasted to tell you the truth, but I am not that surprised!

Wyclef in tears on Oprah, speaks about his recent experience in Haiti

Very touching. I love the way he put it though, ''Eventhough the people are going through a very rough period, they are still chanting. We are the people of 1804, we are used to struggling''. I raise my Haitian flag to that statement. Haiti is definitely in shock, but when you come close to loosing what you had, you realize just how much in really meant to you. We should never take things for granted, even if it seems like they will always be present. The entire world, including many Haitians, seemed to have put our lovely country on the back burner. Many warnings had been given about the destructive behaviors affecting Haiti, however, no one seemed to pay any attention to the voices reason. It took a major earthquake to shake things up...Very unfortunate, many of our people have died in this tragedy. I trust we will learn from this experience and stand up like the powerful nation that we are in order to bring about major change. I thank all the nations that help and support Haiti in these difficult times.

They need to quit messing with Mike Tyson

Mike Tyson needs to learn how to control his emotions! It's so easy to get to him it's not even funny!
After all this drama, he got arrested! Can you believe that shit? Now you really on camera boy! It's sad, because I understand his frustration, right, but still, control yourself, or get controlled in the back of a cop car! So not necessary!

Loleini Tonga, Chris Henry's fiance, talks about his death for the 1st time on camera

Very short interview, Loleini is obviously not ready to discuss the situation, but for some reason she accepted to do the interview. She claims Chris Henry deliberately jumped out of the truck while she was driving away from their home after their big argument. Mr. Henry leaves behind his fiance and their 3 children...
